Peptide Identity Verification
in 5 Minutes
Our 4-zone colorimetric test cards use amino acid fingerprinting to help you identify what's in your peptide vials. No lab required.
How It Works
1. Add Sample
Add a small drop of reconstituted peptide to each test zone.
2. Wait
Allow 3-5 minutes for the color reactions to develop.
3. Compare
Match the color pattern to our fingerprint database.
The 4-Zone System
Bradford
Detects: Protein present
Coomassie Blue dye binding confirms peptide/protein presence in your sample.
Sakaguchi
Detects: Arginine
Alpha-naphthol reaction detects arginine-containing peptides (e.g., GLP-1 agonists).
Lead
Detects: Cysteine
Lead sulfide precipitation identifies sulfur-containing amino acids.
Xanthoproteic
Detects: Aromatics
Nitric acid reaction detects aromatic amino acids (tyrosine, tryptophan, phenylalanine).

The 4-zone colorimetric test system provides qualitative amino acid fingerprinting for identity screening purposes. It cannot determine exact purity, confirm amino acid sequence, or detect all possible contaminants. Results should be interpreted as first-line screening only. For definitive analysis, submit samples to an accredited analytical laboratory.
